Just a thought as I've been out of IM some time if I can get a domain with the exact name of my niech say trout fishing. Com at a price 20 x that of a. Co. UK or 100 times of a. Info is the expenditure worth it for a. Com?
So troutfishing. Com $200
Troutfishing. Co UK $20
Troutfishing. Info $2

Or should I spend the cash I save not getting a com address on other areas?

Buy info and spend the rest on SEO and your site.
Thanks the. Info is 100x cheaper than the. Com which buys some quality articles custom built store etc etc

If you can afford it and plan on making this a long term project, I'd go for the .com. Anytime there is a .com domain I will take it. The latest project I'm working on is semi competitive, so I took an exact match .site domain. If you don't get the .com now, somebody else might. Or the owner might raise the price should you want to change to .com in the future.

If its a churn&burn or a quick/test/not-so-sure-it-will-work project, go for the .info, if you plan to create a blog/site in the long term, go for the .com

The. Com isn't available but is for sale at 200 bucks the. Co. UK is available for free
