I just got an email from name.com, that they are selling .COM and .NET domains for $0.99 for a limited amount of time.

Promotion begins at 15:00 MST (UTC-7) on Thursday.

Go here: https://www.name.com/happy-hour, deal starts in 2 hours 30 minutes.
1 reg per customer, 1k total reg available.
There will be a promo code (i assume it will be shown, when the countdown is over), which needs to be applied at checkout.

I was going to reg 30 domains and just seen and feel like i am gonna save bunch of money

but suddenly seen the word "1 reg per customer"

on the other hand, you don't necessarily have to use your own credentials when signing up, if you want register throw away domains for instance, register as many name.com accs as you wish, so you can get the desired amount of domains

i have around 15-20 accs with another registrar, just to be able to leverage the discounts, the discount is good for 10 domains there though

but it's already over anyway, they will have something else discounted next Thursday

Good lead, but very short window of a promotion; I'm going to have to set my phone reminder for the following promotion next week, although it doesn't say what it is. Does it get announced ahead of time at some point?

i'm not sure about that, last week i only got the notification when the promo was already running, it was .CLUB domains for $0.99, this week i got the email before the promo started, but i guess it's a pretty safe bet, if you check the happy hours link i posted above on next Thursday, i guess there will be a running timer just like this week and last week, so you won't miss it

I've been all over that promo. I think it says for a limited time, but they've been $.99 for a while now.
