Colored Letterheads & Envelopes

Has anyone sent out both black & white letterheads as well as colored ones? It may not seem like much of a difference, but it may be a decision factor in my opinion. Professional quality paper + color vs. generic cheap b&w. If you've used both, have you noticed any difference in responses?

I'm also thinking about ordering envelopes with full color designs. Should definitely catch attention. The letterhead + envelope combo would cost me a few hundred dollars though. Opinions?

In my personal opinion, it's the content that does the magic.

You can obviously test it out yourself, since each niche has different characteristics on open rates but again - content is king.

They would need to open it to get to that ''magical content'' - From my own observation here on bhw - people have reported more success with coloured or birthday cards type envelopes.
@OP This shouldn't cost you hundreds, you could get a stack of coloured envelopes for dirt cheap on ebay
