If you colocate your own sever at a data center are you still going to have the same issues with TOS violations that you have if you "rent" a dedicated server from a host. Im just wondering if they would care less since its your equipment and you are only paying for bandwidth.

    Thoughts?

yeah it does matter, because still COLO is providing u bandwidth apart from space and power. If their upstream provider get a complaint, full range of ip's are blocked instantly .
