Collecting payment from offline clients?

Hi guys,
I'm getting into offline marketing and just had a quick question to ask y'all. I'm planning on selling a subscription based service on a per month basis (low $xxx). What do you use to actually collect the payment? Are people generally fine with Paypal subscriptions, or do you mail them an invoice? Not sure how it works.

You can setup auto-recurring billing through a company like Merchant Warehouse.

Looks interesting! Kinda looks like Paypal here, except I got denied from that. Do you know if it's possible to set up a subscription with it though?

Okay, so you're saying like a 3rd party processor? Is that like 2checkout?

I agree! But apparently if they do not have a Paypal account, in order to pay the subscription they need to make one on the spot, and I'd like to avoid that if possible.
