I was thinking of signing them up or selling them for unwanted SMS services but I am not sure how that would work or if there is any money in that. Anyone have any experience with leveraging collected mobile phone numbers to make $$. How can I make money with SMS?

I've had an idea for quite some time on how to monetize phone numbers via text messages, PM me if you are willing to jv on my idea.
