its been nearly 2 years since I've sent a cold email campaign so help a brother out...
*List: scraped ~10k
*Industry: audio production/saas subscription
* ill be sourcing the sending/server/etc
I plan on doing no more than 2-3 emails with this particular list. Promoting a free trial to the subscription/software.
my questions;
*Should i split the list and do A/B with subject lines with only 10k emails, or craft one good one?
*How is everyone approaching subject lines recently (ive been out of the game!!)? Mention trial/promo in it? Mention "must have" tool for producers?
*I considered sending the email as if it is from a trusted industry company/review site referring the product, & not my company itself. For instance: "the top vst plugin on our list comes from x company. Try it out for free here (link)"
Is this a good aporoach or completely stupid? I wont be offended
