Hey guys, im wondering if anyone on this forum is doing cold emailing + affiliate marketing? If you're doing it , can you tell me what affiliate program do you use? I've heard that amazon associates for example don't accept cold email traffic. So maybe you could recommend any affiliate program which accepts cold email traffic? Let me know, thanks!

offer's terms as well.
A cold email is an unsolicited e-mail that is sent to a receiver without prior contact and without appropriate prior consent of the receipt of the email.
I am not aware of any affiliate marketing network that allows cold emailing to promote their offers. If anyone knows, please do inform OP about the same.
Nowadays if an affiliate marketing network knows that an affiliate is using cold emailing to promote their offers, then they take appropriate action.

That's not how you do it.
You may do the cold emailing promoting a FREE offer on your chosen niche in exchange for optin.
Then you email those users and promote an offer on a landing page/site. Any offer will do.

There are services allowing that, even among the most popular ones, but the real problem is how they handle the users doing affiliate marketing, and in this many of them are lying.

I know this for a fact after testing dozens of services for my agency, and talking to their workers as well.

Pay extreme attention to their policies...

I wouldn't advise you do it. You will just get banned by the affiliate network, and/or be held liable legally.

Firstly, it violates CAN-SPAM act. It may also violate other country's laws like GDPR, especially when you get their personal info (email address, in this case) without their permission.

In fact, some affiliate networks have gotten into trouble due to affiliates doing email blasts. I won't reveal much, but the company is called XMission. They're an ISP company but because their clients have received email spams, they have brought affiliate companies to court for violating CAN-SPAM act.

Secondly, your sender email address and domain name will just end up in spamhaus almost instantly if you blast emails to people who did not consent. Your future emails will all just end up in the SPAM folder or just get blocked automatically.

Lastly, cold emails have the worse conversion rates. Imagine receiving an email from a stranger telling you about an offer... Would you trust and buy it? Nope. If you're using Mailchimp or some email platforms your account will be flagged faster than you think, especially when the open rates are terrible. It also costs you money, unless if you do it with your own mail server.

Note: again, just my advice. You're free to your own actions. But just be careful. And you can still get some conversions from cold emails, but expect conversion rates to be as low as <0.1% even if the offer/LP is great..

Yeah, Genesis is right...
It's a prequalifying mechanism.

You don't necessarily sell directly in the copy.
With some weird angles, maybe, but at the very least you'd wanna re-direct them to a landing page.
It doesn't matter what method you use, if you re-direct to a landing page, there is no affiliate program that is gonna have issues with traffic from your page.

Yeah I feel this violates the CAN-SPAM act for sure! Spamhaus will catch you so fast if you don't clean them spamtraps boiiiii

Life is not like black and white it has multiple colors, facettes.

I wonder that people get into spamhaus, caught from the police, get into court..in the the best free country with best economic in the world the usa, where people have good freedom to make money/ business, not like it is in the socialists european countries.

As an example: the marketer J.Crestani doing this and make yt videos about these tactics
he send to the cold email address the direct affiliate link to the merchant site.
Doing this on pinterest, tumblr with IG DM's...........

And he is not caught up by police, in spamhaus , court or jail.....
So I think cold emailling must be allowed in the usa?
Yes maybe the affiliate network can ban you.

I call such an affiliate network a bastard, coward,
they keep the money from the sales but ban the affiliate- right?

You can still mass email people without violating CAN-SPAM if you’re in the US…. There’s just steps and rules you have to follow to be compliant. Read the law. It’s very black and white on how to abide

If your citizen you need to proxy your company via different domain or something else to avoid legal issues. And just cold mailing services your ready to mail :) , Its common thing these days.

Actually that not true... as im doing cold mailing from 12 years, and i do get cr from 20-35% in specific countries, but i know other guys doing more... based on the offer.... Its true that u get blacklisted, but based on the email content and reputation u can stay alive even for months...

What im going to say is that a lot of Experience is needed. and time by time it gets frustrating, rebuilding everything to loose your marks around.

Finally a real response from a real email marketer.

There are MANY networks that allow email marketing traffic. You can easily find it by searching online but to name the top ones, Clickbooth, W4/DMS, etc.

The main issue here is if you're new and starting out then I'd not recommend email marketing as there is TONs of learning curve and costs a lot of $$$ to get your feet wet. And the main and real info that you need will only be learnt by doing and doing and doing, there is no "guide" which you can follow unlike other marketing channels like fb ads, google, etc.

Another thing is you will need a LOT of patience as its gonna be frustrating as hell when you suddenly get hundreds of your ips blacklisted out of nowhere and have to scratch your heads thinking what went wrong lol. So start meditating daily.

Can I do this with a regular gmail account and gmass? Or what do I need to do?

is it enough to have com domain and us webhost provider?
I'm living in europe and have UK rent vitural office address, I think in UK cold mass emailling is allowed too, they are liberal coutnries.

All other beautiful europe countries not allow this it's feeling like socialism :(, cold emails on B2B is only allowed when the contact first give you the permission to do it.
Also send a normal email with the tip: "Your website is not looking good in mobile view" can I send your another email how to fix that? When the contact replys and gives you permission, then you can send him your web design offer.

mondtram:
when you doing cold mass email or cold DM messages on tumblr, facebook, instagramm, tiwtter to people who ar enot followers of you (when that is possible) ,
J. Crestani said in one of hi svideos doing helpful valueable DM messages 25 a day = 100-125 in a week , you should make 1 sale.

But when I calculate your statement of 0,1% conversion rate, then you need to send out 1200 DM messages/ or emails to make 1 sale, it's a high ticket affliate procduct from J.Crestani. Or these people telling lies in their youtube video= fille rcontent? I don't know...

Happy Weekend !

Hi there, Actually you can do it with gmail, but there are lots of technical things u need to know, but dont expect to send a lot, today is really difficult to deliver email, and very hard to Inbox.
Email is something that always evolve, but there is always a solution. Think that Antispam is done by people like you, so there are always tricks which i cannot show here.
Hint: Use Gmail to fight Gmail!
