I know the basic sales process but I need a more deeper knowledge in sales and cold calling. Thank you for any experts out there willing to shed some knowledge or mentor a young padawan.

I reposted this because I posted in the wrong section.

referring to cold calling. cold emailing tips can be of use too.

Cold calling - offer something(before you ask for business) that solves an existing problem. Like for eg: for a dentist, who is doing offline print campaign..you can offer free artwork and distribution for 2 campaigns if he signs up for a 5 campaign package etc ..basic idea for this approach is to give before you can ask.. offer services to build confidence..money will follow. Trust is the best currency you should aim to earn. This is my opinion.

For emails i got the following adivices here, my requirement was to send 10k Emails Daily

@iamdeadat2017
You should use PowerMTA and Mailwizz Like Combinations for this.
You will get the Web Platform for Matrix and PMTA will deliver the emails as it is configured.
The Cost for 10k would be Approx. $50 in total depending requirement.

@order387a
You can check this hxxp://bit.ly/sendmyemail , u can send unlimited emails during 1 (one) month, for a maximum of 10.000 contacts for $ 43,89
but there is more option depend on your contact

@fc-dh
Woodpecker + Sendgrid

Hope this helps.

Cheers!!

Go to the Downloads section of this forum and download Cardone University. The best cold calling course you can ever imagine. Retails for $10,000 and you get it free.

What are you trying to sell?

People buy from people they trust. Don't just try to peddle right out of the gate, make it seem like you want to give them something that can be of real use to them. You can't fast-talk most people into trusting you, build a rapport, SHOW them the value you're offering and they'll come around.

Most sales are closed after the 5th contact. Don't give up if they don't buy day 1. If they seem interested then follow up, follow up, follow up.

Hello. I’m using sendgrid + woodpecker combination to send emails daily. But woodpecker is very expensive. They charge 50$ for every additional email. So I have 13 emails right now and I pay 13 x 50$ = 650$ monthly which is very , very much… Do you know any cheaper option to use instead of woodpecker? I really need your help! I can't send you PM, please send me PM if you can! Thanks!

Hey there, welcome to a great part of marketing to start out :D
Cold calling is for me still a mysterious thing and I read A LOT about it - even here in this forum. So I just found some links you definitely should have a look at:

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/cold-calling-tips-for-newbs.393698/
https://www.virtual-sales.com/top-ten-tips-for-getting-past-the-gatekeeper/
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/my-cold-call-script.827197/#post-8710821

But the best way to learn it (I guess) is how my really good friend from my town does it:
1. Apply to a telesales company with good reputation or a lot of customers
2. Get the job and their trainings for free
3. Sell their stuff for some months to get the real feeling for it
4. Cancel the job and sell your stuff from now on

Good luck!!

thank you for the information mate.

OP - I used to be an Army Recruiter, and we were required to make 100-150 calls daily.

My advice is to get a list in which you can add notes to, outcome of the call, any info that is provided during the call and write it all down.

If you dont get any answer on the phone, just write NA .. That will remind you to call them back another time.

Create a script and stick to it. Phone scripts do work, as long as they sound natural, you do need some selling skills or know how to sell.

too much theory, not enough practice. just do it. pick up the phone. adjust later.

the main thing is to understand that you can sell the item as cold calling means that person you call to does not need it, and actually I think this work is only for gifted people who can sell everything
