Hi there,

I've never really gotten into BlackHat until recently, when I truly discovered the worth of this forum, the helpfulness of people and in general, the high grade IQ/EQ level of the participants.

Here's a little about me:

I'm a graphic designer with skills in almost all aspect of design fields, ranging from PSD, AI, ID, LR, Dreamweaver, Flash, AfterEffects, FinalCut, I can also handle most print medai, design and produce point of sales, direct, edit, shoot TV commercials etc

Recently, my Friend [Business partner] and I started to do our own little thing for Small Businesses Owners, and we've gathered a small sturdy show-able portfolio, but our sales are slow.
We do a lot of marketing/advertising/print/design services, both On-Line and Offline, you name it we do it.

I know there's a lot of brave souls out there are that recommend direct Cold Calling, and I have some experience in this field as I used to work as one, but I thought direct door knocking and selling myself in front of them would gather a higher % of success rate.

But the time it takes to research each individual company is tedious and slow, and the being as efficient as we can, we can only visit up to 5 business's per hour.

All in All, I'd really appreciate it anyone could share their professional insight to this situation.

Love you all!
;)

Have you been doing the research manually? Consider using a tool like Places Scout.

I either do some light area research or I just choose an area and just go in and do it.
But I find both of them both quite inefficient in their own aspects.

Places Scout? That certainly sounds interesting!! Gonna have a look at it right now
