Cold calling local businesses as a foreigner?

Getting a local number is not a problem with many service providers offering it .. e.g., Skype

I myself have 2 numbers from the 347 and 408 area codes ...

I’m just saying it’s better to be a local going to get a phone number from another city or another number that you don’t know world. If I am in Arizona and I get a call from South Dakota knowing that I don’t have anybody there it throws up a red flag. I had an app on my phone that tells me a number is spam or not.
