Cold Call to Shopping Cart?

    I just spent 2 days working on a site, and I realized that I might have better success with sending my potential clients directly to my shopping cart. My shopping cart has better descriptions of what I have to offer, and nothing beats sending a personal right into a point-of-sell loop.

    Give me your thoughts? Send them to my site or directly to the shopping cart?

    I would try sending them to your site first so they know what you are about, that's just my thought.

    Split test. When we acquired the newspaper, we split tested. Send them to a certain section or send them to the general location. In our favor, we saw that it's best to just send them to the general location.

    If you are building enough credibility during the phone call and your service/product is cut and dry, I think you should be fine, but I have to agree with the last post, that you need to split test.
