I have an exact match .co.uk (I'm in the UK) and it's getting a little traffic from America.

Would I be good to go if I built the exact same site as a .info (it is an information based site) on a USA server that would then wildcard 301 back to the co.uk - in order to capture much more US traffic?

com org and net are taken so I went for info.

My co.uk ranks well in US but are Americans reluctant to click co.uk's?

    Thanks!

I rarely see .co.uk sites in my US results but maybe its just because I've never actually been looking for them. Do 301s get indexed/listed/rank in Google?
