.co.uk domain

Found a great package with 1-year hosting (1gbp per month) + free .co.uk domain at a certain UK hosting provider. Didn't check other providers so far, but when I tried to create an account, I couldn't select my country (which is not UK). Didn't get an answer from the support so far, but am I missing something obvious here? It is allowed for foreign citizen to purchase .co.uk domain, right?

If anyone knows for another provider, let me know. I'm looking for something affordable because I don't expect more than 500 UV per day.
