Even though not as popular as .com a 3 letter domain is good, real good. Check out if any business initials are what your domain is. Park it on a domain auction site and see if you get any offers. Posted via Mobile Device
i just registered a .co.com domain yesterday... a bit more expensive, but we'll see how it goes as far as ranking. I've seen people with .in domains ranking #1 on SERPS for certain keywords, so it should work out fine. will let you all know how it goes.
I've got a few .co domains and I find they rank just as well as a .com now I haven't done any serious testing on this so please don't blame me if they don't work for you
I make sure I set the geographic preference to the USA in Google Webmaster tools (assuming you want to target the US of course)
