Hey, just wondering if I could get some fresh opinions on using co.cc domains for Blogger. I have a few co.cc domains that I set up for Blogger sites recently. Specifically, when it comes to throwing up blogs/pages/sites for various offers, affiliate products etc., how much difference does it really make, as opposed to let's say .info? Is there a substantial difference or is it nominal?

The last time i heard, that site was deindexed..

Well, yes, it got deindexed. But, its back now.

But, still, I would better advice you to go for a .com,.org or .net.
Get a .info if you are looking for a cheaper option.
Or else stay with .blogspot rather than .co.cc as that looks more trustworthy.

Also, .co.cc is blocked by many antiviruses so also make a note for that.

I knew that co.cc was deindexed at one point, and that had been lifted. I did not know that co.cc was blocked by many AV programs. Definitely noted. I may just drop the co.cc and keep .blogspot as you suggest. Thanks.

Don't try .co.cc domains they had a bad image for Google.

Yeah, I think I will start phasing them out. The allure is obviously getting completely free domains and hosting, but there are very cheap and better alternatives. I have seen some very high ranking co.cc since google brought them back to life, but google could possibly deindex them again.

There are tons of other free domains, just google to find em, just stay away from .tk .co.cc. I sometimes use co.nr.

I will check co.nr out. I have a list somewhere of several free domain services, but didn't know which was best to go with.
