does anyone know how these will rank if you have good content and backlinks?

To be 100% honest its not really worth your time to use these websites, just buy a dot com and if u need help building the website, you can even build a basic WP (wordpress) page, it depends what your doing but WP is very very easy to do, I use dreamhost and WP is built right into their members login area...Hope that helps if not shoot me a PM, not only will it help you to get a dot com if your going to invest the time and money into somthing i'd say do it right instead of for free, thats just my $.02

Once my one of the free .tk domain was on google's first page. It was a keyword rich domain name and the keywords were separated by dash (-). Eventually google has removed the dot tk doamain from their index. I guess it's due to duplicate contents since it was just showing contents of another page in a frame.

But if you buy dot tk or co.cc domains and develop it with good contents, I guess it will help you to get good position on search engines.

But also keep in mind as you make your .tk domain popular you will loose some traffic to corresponding .com domain. General people just remember the domain name and type .com at the end.

So it's a dilemma. But there is no harm to use free .tk domains particularly to hide your affiliate URL. A good domain name like typing.tk may drive more traffic than free redirect URLs.

hmm. i think i will try to rank one. ill let you all know how it goes.

i think you get penalised because the best ive managed with co.cc site is page 3 and the only co.cc i seen on page 1 is there site themselfs. Arthas post back you findings in a few weeks though please.

I can understand why that would happen for co.cc because your domain with them is actually a subdomain. But shouldn't .TK be better?

I have seen a PR6 co.cc (and I have 2 PR4) it's ok if you use the DNs I guess....

.tk... I've got no idea.

ok after "a lil" research EXTREMELY rare niches "natural legal cocaine alternative" for example bring up a co.cc site as 3rd so on that note i guess its passable if your niche is fairly untapped

hmm. that gives me an idea if captchas don't get in my way.

it seems to me that .TK should be no different than .info ?
