Hello BHW members,

By the inspiration from a post in BHW "Earning $500 in 9 hrs from PPI" , I thought of trying with the current main website for PPI and keeping my packages to Download.com for increasing my sales.

I created a package with Inno-Installer (Don't ask how to ?) , and used revenyou to ad offers on my package and in return they game me some 900kb file which is far less than my actual package, as a result Cnet (Download.com) rejected my package saying its an adware.

I am thinking of adding betterInstaller script for offers which doesn't reduce size, has anyone experienced the same? Should I continue spending my time for this trick or it no longer works !
I need advice from BHW experts, please Help !

Build your own installer with NSIS, and integrate the offers yourself. Ask your PPI network how to do this. This way, you won't get a shitty 900kb wrapper file that looks like a virus. You'll use the actual installer you made. Another upside is that the whole file will be hosted on cnet, no need to download from your server.

Actually I am using Inno Installer for the same procedure !
Do you know any PPI networks which provides such facility to integrate their offers?

InstallMonetizer provides offers to integrate with NSIS or Inno installer. But they're very strict and you need to be the developer or have deal with the software being distributed (no open source).

Hi OP

I'm also interested to try this method "Earning $500 in 9 hrs from PPI" but seems everyone facing trouble even in thread. Can you share your suggestions when it works for you.

Thanks

Ok, I will try this one then !

I will surely put my suggestions after getting my first report of earning .

OP do update us if you were able to integrate offers or got accepted into download.com. Thanks

Yes, I have integrated offers so far but of betterInstaller and accepted into download.com and softonic, will try to get into brothersoft soon !
The worst thing is , earnings are now a days in CENTS for these methods, I don't know how to increase my PPD earnings.

How long did it take to get accepted on BetterInstaller? They seem like the best one and they haven't replied to me yet.

I applied with my primary website which has decent traffic and then one of their member directly approached me and asked some details on the email.
Then after a few days of verification we agreed on a deal of starting PPI as a developer and they gave me my affiliate id and offers id along with my credentials. They will only allow if you have a decent traffic and legitimate downloads.

Anyone using Installerex and a setup exe file created with Inno or NSIS? If so, please PM me

Why would you say they rejected your installer based on it's size? Maybe they rejected it based on it having Revenu?

That's what I meant ! RevenYou is always generating installer of approx 700-900kb, and scan it for virus online, it will show 20/50 minimum. So, its obvious, they rejected it ! :P but it pays good, no offenses !

Search for an online crypting service like crypt.im (not tested) so it won't get detected as virus anymore ;)

I don't think Cnet will still accept it. CoNfUsEd!

LOL ! Just tried , the result was 26/57 ! Doesn't work!

I am in the same situation as you are.
I tried to submit some application to cnet but all got denied.
I use revenyou, I don't know what do because betterInstaller doesn't accpet me..
Any ideas?

RevenYou provides a downloader, so does Amonetizer. Cnet doesn't accept such shits in their sites.
Check these alternatives which embeds offers in your INNO or NSIS (don't ask how to do it!)
installmonetizer.com
betterinstaller.com
clickinstalls.com
opencandy.com
