Hey everyone , i would like to consult you about CMS good for making mini site like ebay , where users post their stuff to sell and other users come to buy it . If you know free or paid CMS for that purpose please enlighten me .
Thanks

You can try VirtueMart, you need Joomla CMS to use VirtueMart, but it's free. You can check demo here.
Thanks bro , ahh joomla never touched it before , i am more familiar with wordpress but oh wth ill take other people's opinions on other cms and pick the best option .
Thanks again :)

The problem in Joomla here is, there isn't a component that allows users from the front-end to use a shopping component to add their own inventory of goods at the back and then sell it at the front. And then when payment goes through, how would the money go to the user who posted that product? I don't know. I just can't find a particular component that can do that so far.

For free and paid shopping cart systems try to have a research first of all and then decide which is better I have researched for my self and now I am working with pinnacle cart , as it comes with 14 days trial but it is paid system and for free systems as if you wished so try osCommerce but I think it may have some problems that paid one is better
for more information you may search google for: pinnacle cart review yummy or osCommerce review

joomla used to work with magento. its def worth looking into. Many high end ecommerce stores actually use drupal and magento combined for their online shop

Wordpress combined with WooCommerce. Options are endless with countless extensions and plugins.

I was looking at CS cart for something like this but they suck and never return messages.
