Inspired by this post, I began to think that I've got anything backwards

I found this page by searching for the full version of the rich jerk ebook awhile back, but not as a webmaster, but a person looking for a online earning opportunity. I never got around to being an affiliate, but only someone who tries highly-technical "100/day BH methods", without ever doing basic stuff like keyword research, backlink building, SEO, landing page creation etc. This has led me to great frustration. I know money can be made online, but I'm going to have to change my ways, doing something consistent rather chasing after the next xxx$-per day goose.
Now, I'm thinking about choosing some affiliate product(s) and promote it(them) for the next 2 months through consisent work. The problem is, I do not know what to promote, what would not be too saturated, so that I would see some results after 2 months of promoting it. If you guys could help me with that, I'd be able to choose the keywords and buy a specific domain and build on from that. I'd just like to choose something that I would not waste my time on.
