So I am doing the cloudflare setup and I changed my name servers to the ones they showed and now my site is down, did I do something wrong? or how long is it going to take for my site to come back up?

I'm also using Cloudflare on one of my sites, but I don't believe it was down after I changed nameservers.
Check again did you entered the right ones.

been on the phone with bluehost for like an hour now they set up my site on a subdomain and had redirects messing everything up... I dont know what they did because it was beyond me but they fixed the location of all my files now. Lets see how cloudflare works.

    I use cloudflare.... no problems...

except that if you have a subdomain.... you have to add it manually.

but there were no interruptions for me

It normally takes 1-24 hours after you successfully changed your nameservers to cloudflare nameservers. You check the propagation status on this site :

My issue was with the subdomain and redirect from my main site to the subdomain so fair warning if anybody is setting up cloudflare and has their files unorganized you may encounter problems.
