Cloudflare and Google - Horrible results.

I use cf for everything. No problems really and I particularly like that they forward geo information. One caveat, however, is that you can very easily end up on the same IP block as a 'bad' site which could potentially cause problems I guess

So a few days gone, does any of you guys have seen any difference yet?

Have you checked the load speed of your site on pingdom? When I switched one of my sites to cloudflare, my website speed actually dropped from <1s to over 3-5s. Not sure why cloudflare made my site slower, but I noticed conversions dropping and checked into it. I didn't actually lose any rankings from making the switch though.

Just checked one of my CloudFlare sites on pingdom. Really messed up data being sent, one server loaded 5 seconds and the others showed about a million micro-data transfers from all sorts of places. Forget CloudFlare, it doesn't even speed anything up at all compared to W3 Total Cache, just gets you a better score on the PageSpeed analytics due to async loading Google ads (not all themes support async) which helps OCD people like me who want a perfect score.

Thanks, I'm glad that I'm not the only who noticed all this, I thought it was just me that was total stupid to all this! Please keep posting your results about CF here.. and if there is any solution post as well.

Very interested in this, i use CF too. Do keep posting your results, if you can.. It's very strange.

I gave up on them a good while ago, but I didn't have a particular reason. Looking forward to see your results, keep us updated.

I had positive results almost a year ago. Rankings and traffic went up after making the switch to CF. Right now, my growth has plateaued but don't think that has anything to do with CF.

But yeah..I am interested in your results.

Are you using the paid or free plan?

Well this time I was using the Free plan, for some years back I tried the paid plan.. the question is valid maybe the free plan is just trash I don't know.
