Hi Guys, can you share how you make sure your cloud (i use dropbox) is not being accessed by anyone else / compromised - aside from coming up with a really good PW? I use cloud for all my photos and other work stuff since I go from one place to another - I don't have nude photos or embarrassing photos, but I still would not want to happen to me what happened to those Hollywood stars ...LOL

First of all, in order not to compromise your privacy, do not do things that may do so. Regarding the Cloud storage, I am not sure of any other ways of ensuring your security. Maybe some other members have the idea.

What exactly do you mean by "do not do things that may do so?"

I am referring to compromised privacy. Even if I store wholesome pictures on my cloud, but it will be used to steal identity or for money-making purposes, then that is still a violation of my privacy.

or are you referring to not getting cloud security like, perhaps, netskope? Unfortunately, the same service is not available - or I have not found it online - for individuals. If there is, I would appreciate you mentioning it here.

Part of the problem is solved by using "Zero Knowledge" cloud storage, like SpiderOak. This means that storage provider does not have the technical ability to read your data - this includes employees and hackers.
