Cloud Storage or Device Storage ???

So, Many of you would have run out of storage space multiple times.

In such cases do you prefer using an external storage device or cloud storage or if any other option available ?

For me, I like to rely on myself and always store my excess data on external storage devices.
I feel Cloud just isn't that safe to store everything. Like it can be used to store movies/softwares etc. that are publicly available but for personal stuff's I won't trust cloud. I really don't want to wake up some day and find my videos on Xvideos humping the bed.

What's your preference? Is cloud Safe ?

I won't ever trust Cloud with sensitive data

Plus, you're damned if the internet connection sucks or you have limited bandwidth.
