Cloud Hosting for ScrapeBox - Anyone Use Cloud Servers?

Just curious as the question states.

Anyone see benefits using cloud servers for scrapebox / xrumer

You only pay for what you use....

Somehow I don't think it ends up being cheaper because everyone would be on their
d*ck instead of XServer. Go for it. The future of computing is cloud.

My assumption is that if u use SB 24/7 then it's not but if u use it 24/5 or something it is..

I use Rackspace cloud servers for scrapebox and it's great!

I created my server in minutes, and uploaded all my files to it, this was a breeze, all I did was install and log in to dropbox and all my files started syncing - pretty fast!

I had to email scrapebox to move my license over to the new server, got an email back within 24 hours.

The server is a windows 2003 wit 1GB ram and costs $0.08 per hour, you pay for bandwidth but even then it's still pretty cheap.

I created a server image, so I have a backed up copy stored in rackspace cloud files. when I'm done with a scrapebox run, I delete the server and I no longer get charged by the hour.

Once I'm ready to do another run, I create a server from my backup image (takes less than 5 minutes), log in and scrapebox is ready for me to use. (so are all my other programs like chrome, dropbox etc.)

I would suggest you give it a try, it's awesome!

It's perhaps the best deal if you don't use Scrapebox 24/7, but I'm not sure about the bandwidth issue.
If you use SB 24/7 with scheduling, you don't have time out and a VPS is the best deal.
 
Amazon EC2 is awesome. If you don't run it 24/7 it is cheaper than most VPS.
24/7 will be expensive. The idea is to only bring the node up when you need
to blast.

How much are you paying for bandwidth ?
You don't have any problems with scrapebox activation when you delete and rebuild your server ?

Actually you can get a free year's worth of time on a Amazon EC2 micro instance provided you're a new Amazon AWS customer and have a US IP. Check out aws*amazon*cum\free There are other services besides EC2 they offer in their free tier, as well.
