What is a good cloud based email system to move to.

Both Free vs Paying ?

Office 365. Exchange online p1 plan is £3/month.

It’s enterprise level email system with sync across devices, calendar sync, out of office, SLA, backup, mailbox restore, deleted item retention etc.

Or for free, just use horde webmail which is available in cPanel.

I use Gsuite for business domains. Which you are essentially using Gmail with your own domain.

There are many plug-ins that you can get to enhance it.

office365
google suites
AWS

Really up to you on what you are doing. All are good in there own way.
