How safe is to backup your data in the cloud to keep praying eyes out... Can I just dumb anything into (i.e LiveDrive) and not worry who sees what I have uploaded there?
Not sure how this cloud backup really works - what do you guys recommend besides External HDs.

Make your own cloud with owncloud, which lets you host by yourself.

Or read the damn Term of service...

i use dropbox, but when its really sensitive info like text files with passwords and accounts i just encrypt it before uploading, axcrypt is pretty decent free encrypting program
