To get rid of the clutter in the giveaway section please report when your giveaway is over. You can either use the report post button or PM me or one of the other Mods for this section.

There's a lot of people who keep posting to dead threads so take the time to have your thread closed if you are no longer offering it.

is there a way to mark threads as "never expires" -> my giveaway is automated so its assurered that everybody gets it and i wont turn it off... it would be cool to have an never expires tag that can be searched

You could also set new posts in that section to automatically expire after a certain time such as 1 month or 3 months and they only stay open if people request they stay open.

I see them 'finished' all the time and click on report with the following message:
finished - please delete or at least close thread to
prevent further posting/bumping/advertising

IMPO I think they should be DELETED otherwise they sit here and are FREE ADVERTISING for the OP. :yield:

My giveaway happens to be a recurring thing. I get thing I am giving away once per month in groups of 5. So, I was instructed by an exec Jr. VIP to close it, but I don't feel it is necessary to keep opening a new thread everytime. Wouldn't that just create more clutter?

My subject has been closed by mod. Thread posted less than 24 hours, The list of members to be received has not been given.
The mod has an announcement that I can request to reopen via message or report. I cannot send messages due to insufficient number of posts. So I reported. And I get a notification that the report has been rejected. This makes me look like a scam. What should I do at this time?
