Closed Captioning - adding countries/languages

Hey all, has anyone noticed a huge difference in performance after you've added new regions/CC/language to your videos? Just wondering if I should push out to the top 5-10 markets globally (Eng, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, etc.)

It can help, but it is not a "HUGE" difference. Maybe if you are really going head to head for the top spots with a competitor, all things being equal, it would help.

In that case - would it be of more benefit to start a whole new duplicate channel in a specific language of the targert market? (Eg. German) vs. just adding CC to your own.

yes, definitely. You want to have subscribers/comments all in the target language.
