I have been active member of this forum for quite sometime now and just like any other seller I keep commenting on different posts wherein buyers are looking for writers. However, the reason for starting this thread is to bring notice on some threads started by some buyers, wherein the buyer never comments on the thread and leaves sellers in dark. Writers' keep commenting on the post and despite having tons of writers replying to the post, the buyer doesn't take efforts to close the thread and finish the chain once and for all.

Is there any way out to close such threads because this happens time and again wherein buyers forget to close the thread or announce that project is already handed over to someone. It is in the welfare of all of us because this way we wouldn't spend time commenting on those posts which are closed. We all have far better things to do rather than commenting on a post wherein all we would get is a +1 in our post count. So, I request all the buyers and sellers to consider this.

PS. I have immense respect for everyone on this forum and this post is only to bring out an issue, which we all face time and again.

Sometimes, the deal is done in pm... and you never see the action behind the scenes.

Then comes the impossible task of figuring out what amount of time is the threshold before it is deleted.

Exactly you are absolutely right. I have a personal experience of what you saying but the threshold time has to be decided because sellers keep commenting on the post expecting that they will get a chance to prove their prowess but the truth is altogether different.

You are right peerless, even I have seen such threads floating on this forum but admins have to take the initiative.
