Your site(s) involved in the cloaking get banned from the search engines and you might lose your affiliate account(s)...adsense etc

    edit: worst case scenario

Make the cloaked domains on sub domains..dont build on the root domain..
    Lose a sub..big deal.
If google catches you they deindex the site....they dont go and tell the affiliate you were being dodgy though..but the affiliates may look at where your traffic is coming from/search terms etc...many dont seem to give a shit though..

All I'm trying to do is to hide my url from craigslist et al. because they ghost me when I use the same url all the time. Is that going to put me in danger of being de-indexed too? Thanks.

Erm I don't see how this relates to cloaking but I'll answer it anyway.

I don't think you will get in trouble. Just buy another domain name and redirect it to your website.
