Hey,

since Ad***f.ly restricts loads of ads, I tried to create a campaign and then redirect the page to another offer while the campaign is running. It appears however as if they have something in place to detect that kind of manipulation, because everytime I do it, the traffic stops after mere seconds.

Presumably they do test requests and detect a changed website. So they should send a bot to check every few seconds. It should therefore be possible to stop detection by using something like WP Cloaker in conjunction with certain IP and maybe user agent rules.

Or is it something else altogether? Any advice on how to see what's going on, or how to detect / fingerprint their checking bots / IPs?

contact your cloaker's tech support line and explain the issue... some networks work better with a content replacement instead of a redirect, etc.

Hey qcp860,

are you behind wpCloaker? Is that a good cloaker for PPC networks? From what I understand I would need a large IP list, in case ****** uses several. Have to admit I am not up to date with all the anti-cloaking measures.

this doesnt depend on cloaking service adfly might have changed there policy .
