Would this work to my benefit of cloaking amazon affiliate links?

My main site that I want to link with amazon I would link it to my 2nd website using pretty link plugin, then on my 2nd site I would forward it to amazon using pretty link plugin as well.

The whole deal is for the search engine not seeing any affiliate links on my 1st/main site, since I place all affiliate links on secondary website would this work to my benefit?

Thanks!

If the links on the first website redirect to 2nd site, and the header tells it to redirect to amazon then it wouldn't really work. But I believe using nofollow tags should prevent the search engine from following to 2nd website.

Most people just randomize how often to show affiliate links or display with the user-agent isn't a bot.

you should filter bots by ip and useragents

Cloaking your links based on your site's URL is a good idea for any links really. It's a good way to track each links yourself as you control them through your site through cloaking.

A question for people who do this on daily base ! Do plugins actually work long term ? Isn't it easy to detect method, reverse it etc ?

if i'm understanding your question correctly then what you are describing isn't cloaking per se. as someone mentioned you could use a no-follow but there is no guarantee a bot won't just follow it anyway and have a look at whats there.
