Cloaking House review / useless

Here my review about Cloaking House (https://cloaking.house),

It's really bad. The Cloaking House API is dysfunctional, I get randomly "Try again later" error and the Cloaking House support is kinda useless as well. They are just telling me I am the problem, lmao.

And the worst part is, the error comes and goes. So, you won't even notice and you wonder why you don't get any sales.

Cloaking House did work in the beginning but now it's basically preventing me from making money because my users see this "Try again later". I asked if they could fix their API to no avail.

So, guys, if you go for cloaking, don't choose Cloaking.House even if its cheap. It will cost you real money by losing sales.

I found the Cloaking House error!

Of course their support has no idea what is going on.

They are using Cloudflare on their API domain and blocking my IP / displaying a captcha to it!

I will update if they are gonna change it. I doubt it because the support has no idea what is going on.
 
Ouch, that's rough. Have you tried implementing a retry mechanism on your end to automatically handle those intermittent errors? Might buy you some time while you look for a more reliable solution.

Well it's fixed now as I just moved on to a different server. They don't know why they block my server.

But this was really bad, I lost like 2-3 weeks of sales.

CloakingHouse is okay for some of my purposes but I might add another cloaker.

The problem about Cloaking House filtering is this:

They are not able to prevent Netcraft and Seclookup listings and annoying "Spam" listings. Netcraft is afaik feeding into the blocklist of Microsoft Edge, so it's a big deal.
 
Hi, you are right, cloaking cannot affect your domain being marked as spam, because this is affected by complaints from users. But cloaking can help extend the life of your domain.
Regarding "Try again later" as far as I remember, yes, we figured out with you that the problem is that Cloudflare is blocking your IP / displaying a captcha to it, unfortunately we also cannot influence this. But we are always in touch and are ready to help with all the problems that you encounter on our service.
 
From our experience Cloaking House solution is quite good price-performance option for beginners - the setup is quite easy and pricing is fairly cheap, as it can scale depending on your campaigns. Most other cloaking solutions require expensive monthly commitments, which is not good if you are just starting out.
 
Cloaking House is okay if you have no money and are running some gray hat projects, also you need to be ready to basically "do it yourself" kind of attitude, I would only recommend to people that need free cloaking as they can use the trial for 7 days which is around the lifespan of an ad if you use them also, once you find profitable method you can switch to paid cloakers that have better support and overall better performance
 
I am using it again, however, they are not able to block Fortinet Phishing and ESET Suspicious listings :(

This is the main point. Good cloakers are expensive. There's a reason for that. It takes tons of resources to run a good cloaker, low latency, huge databases and fast hosting. Can't run a decent cloaker for cheap.

It's $50 now, btw.

The one you are advertising for also can't protect against AI Precrime (Edge browser) and ESET.
