Yeah, cloaking can be for protection, like hiding referrer info to avoid penalties. But when it’s used for manipulating search or ad traffic, it crosses into BH territory. It’s all about the intent.
 
The line is defined by intent and content parity. Protection cloaking shows the same core offer to both user and reviewer, merely cleaning up the presentation. Manipulation cloaking shows entirely different content/products. The former is risk mitigation; the latter is fraud, and platforms treat it as such.

cloaking is basic survival now, mostly just to hide my landers from spy tools so people dont copy everything.
 
agree 100% man. most people use it just to hide their landing pages from spy tools and bots so their campaigns dont get ripped instantly. its more about protection than actually being blackhat these days.

gotta agree man, mostly using it for safety cuz bots ban everything for no reason.
 
you dont need to justify it, everyone on bhw knows cloaking is just part of the game if you want to survive the review bots. honestly if you not using it for protection your basically asking to have your landers ripped and your accounts flagged.
