Cloaking Clarification ?

Hi all,

Im quite new to cloaking and i would just like to know a few things and im sure it would help everyone out here to who is a noob.

With regards to doorway pages:

What is the main reason for using Doorway pages?
Is it to build backlinks to your main site to get that site ranked high,
or is it to get these Doorway page sites ranking high and redirect to your main site?

What is the main differences between a Cloaker and Doorway pages?

If i generate 1000 pages and start getting them indexed, will google notice all these backlinks to my main website appearing so fast and get suspicious.?

Basically i have bought DoorwayPageGeneratorPro and i have a main website just one squeeze page that has my products on it.

Should i build lots of different Doorway pages on cheap .info domains and each on a different host and IP.
Then point all the links in the Doorways pages to my Main site?

Is the point here to get my main site Ranking or the Doorway pages ranking?

The way I do it is use doorway pages and cloaked pages on domains other than my main domain. Of course I either throw links up or re-direct everything to my legit page. I get number one for tons of terms whether I use these techniques or not. I use techniques like these when I can't rank easily with other keywords. I personally mix and match black hat techniques with my sites so I don't get banned too often. I prefer to mask/cloak links than cloak pages and create doorway pages.

how do you cloak a link, and how do you cloak a page, and what is the difference between them?
