    Hey everyone,

I've been looking all over the web for an answer but to no avail. Since Penguin 4.0 rolled out my competitors took over the top positions. I've studied their backlink profile and they're not even hiding anything. Pure web spam profile, which brings out the question - Is the big G still penalising spammy profiles?

I've reported them to the web spam team but all that is happening is my competitors rank up higher, which brings me to another question - is css backlink cloaking effective in 2017?

You reported your competitors for a spammy backlink profile? Maybe you are on the wrong forum.
