What are the differences between doorway pages and cloaking? How are they really similar to each other?

cloaking is showing one kind of visitor (say a search engine spider or a PPC spider) one thing and a human visitor another.

doorway pages are generated content pages that redirect -- there isn't necessarily any detection of one population from another.

It could be and doorway with Cloaking. Doorway is more like EXTRA SEO page just for spiders.

A Doorway page is a keyword stuffed page which redirects to another landing page by using wp plugins.
in cloaking bot sees different content whereas the visitors see a totally different content.
