client website problem - what should you do?

Hello,

I have a website from a client. It has been Top3 for 2 years. Been hit with the latest algo change. It is not ~40-60 spot and dancing all the time.

It has many links from my private network made especially for this website. The links were working, I added a bit social signals and 2 years ago I created some 2.0s/forum profiles and that stuff.

What do you think should I do now?

1. Disavow all links
2. Disavow links not from my network / Disavow links only from my network
3. 301 to new domain
4. Get new domain and Seo it with this network links

I might have problem with anchor diversity but as you can see I wasn't hit by previous algo changes so... what do you think guys? It's been 2 months and site is in #40/50/60 spot.

Top3 websites have max 5-10 links pointing to the domain which is sick.

Have you received any letters from Google?

You might want prune back all the heavy anchor text links as a start. If you're going to disavow, remove anything that looks remotely spammy. Be on the conservative side. If it doesn't look natural, then get rid of it.

Nah. No e-mail and no errors/msgs in webmaster tools.
When I type "keyword domain.com" or "domain.com" my site is #1 so no slap from Big G here.

Should I receive e-mail once I disavow links. Like e-mail with confirmation ?

so you're going to send the links of your private network to Google for a disavow request ?
How much is your private network worth to you ?
Ratting out your network to Google won't help you here, especially since it's a network built specifically for that website alone so I guess they're not going to find links to other websites in your network... looks fishy right ?

Did you Compare ur competitor backlinks ??

Don't do any thing and Build new authority backlinks [ 20 - 50 ] and wait for result !!!
It may improve the serp in stable place mean built more or again u have problem mean change the link building techniques !!

The disallow tool is a NOT to use toll for me.

You basically use black hat technique and the go to G and say it loud.

I will personally leave everything as it is, take a second look at the on site SEO to try to make it perfect and most important correctly, add titles, etc. Second start a link building campaign with anchor diversity and keep the link building speed constant.

You must realize that in this cases a normal recovery will take time.

And I will also go and try to duplicate the competitors link profile.

Things keep changing quite often, try balancing out your anchor texts and also build new authority backlinks. Have you checked if you lost some important links?
