Been noticing that getting quality clients online takes way more effort lately compared to before.
A lot of people are sending generic outreach now, so most buyers just ignore messages completely. I’ve been testing a few different approaches recently and some are definitely performing better than others.
Curious what others here are seeing lately when it comes to outreach, social media traffic, or client acquisition in general.
Feels like the old methods are getting saturated.

Yeah, it’s definitely getting more saturated, a lot of buyers are tuned out from copy-paste outreach now. What’s been working better is narrowing the targeting and making the first message feel specific to their situation instead of generic pitches

Yeah exactly,. Generic outreach barely gets attention anymore unless the targeting is really accurate.

I’ve noticed people respond better when the message actually sounds like it was written for them instead of looking automated. Even simple personalization seems to make a big difference now.

People get flooded with copy paste outreach now, so anything that feels even slightly personalized stands out way more. Generic mass messaging feels almost invisible lately.

What kind of outreach are we talking about here? Cold DMs or cold emails?

I think the issue isn’t outreach volume but the fact that buyers now see hundreds of identical messages daily, making personalization and timing far more important than they used to be.

Currently, Meta can no longer collect customer information, so advertising will rely entirely on Meta's AI. This will make ads more expensive, requiring you to create better content and optimize your products more effectively.

You're not alone, outreach is definitely more competitive now, but highly targeted messages and strong positioning still get results.

Yeah, I've noticed the same. Mass outreach barely gets replies now. What worked better for me was sending fewer messages but making them more relevant to the prospect. Takes longer, but the response rate is much better.

yeah cold outreach feels more spammed now, people ignore same copy paste msgs
what worked better for me is more personal approach + small proof first before pitching
even simple convo first gets way better reply rate than direct offer
old “blast messages” stuff kinda dead now.

I think there's only a few years left before all outreach becomes non-responsive. AI removed the barriers for everyone to blast out cheap, targetted, outreach.

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same thing. Generic outreach is much easier to ignore now. Personalized messaging and building trust through content seem to work better than mass outreach. Testing different angles and tracking actual conversions is probably the key.

Same story here ,generic cold emails have become background noise.
It seems that targeted outreach based on some prblem, or referral from current clients, converts much better than mass email marketing campaigns.

It certainly does. at least that is how I see it. It is always more effective to begin with an observation or a win than with the pitch.

That’s right; customers are becoming increasingly savvy regarding social media services, as so many sellers are offering attractive deals and competing fiercely on price.

I have some secret sauce to make it work...it can still work but with a twist

With the current proliferation of spam on social media, sending effective information has become increasingly difficult. To attract genuinely interested people, you need to invest quality effort and time into each post and product. It will be even more effective if you also engage with groups and pages of communities with similar interests.

That's right, nowadays when you send something like "Hi, we can help grow your business" it's easy to be seen and then shut up. I find messaging based on their exact problem to be more effective. If you see the shop is running ads but the landing page is a bit weak, then give your feedback in the right place. Fewer people respond but the leads are often of better quality.

Cold outreach templates are pretty much dead because decision makers get flooded with AI generated DMs every day. What works much better now is micro personalized outreach sending a short video audit or specific feedback tailored to their business. It takes more time per lead, but the conversion rate is significantly higher
