A lot of people say finding clients is hard.
I think most people just overcomplicate it.
Recently I started focusing more on building a simple process instead of randomly messaging people everywhere.
What’s working for me right now is pretty basic:
I use Google search strings to find real business owners, SEO people, agencies, etc.
Something like:
site:linkedin.com "SEO Manager" "Georgia" "@gmail.com"
You’d be surprised how many good leads are sitting there publicly.
I also avoid super crowded markets most of the time.
Instead of chasing the same USA/UK leads everyone is spamming, I test smaller locations and less competitive spaces.
Better response rates.
Less noise.
After finding leads, I spend time checking their website/profile before messaging.
No copy-paste pitches.
Just a simple opener like:
“Came across your profile and checked your site briefly… noticed something interesting.”
That starts more conversations than long sales paragraphs.
Another thing:
I don’t blast 1000 emails.
Usually 20–30 targeted emails at a time.
Then adjust based on replies.
Anyone can send emails.
Getting responses is the real skill.
Still learning every day, but this simple process has been working much better for me lately:
Search → Research → Outreach
Simple.
