I use Google ads to drive traffic and sales to my business, am using Maximize clicks bid strategy so basically around 300 click a day , the thing is am not getting serious buyers??

I noticed when first lunching the campaign the cpc was around 0.45$ , it start decreasing each day until it reached 0.2 however when using conversion the cpc was 1.4$ not sure how much for a sale cuz i panicked it may ruin my budget and shut it off.

Now am really confused about the difference between campaigns goal clicks and conversion, how does it work ?

Does conversion attract only customers who are willing to buy ?
Will the conversion campaign decrease cpc over time ?
