Clicks but no sale :(

After putting all my efforts, I managed to rank many keywords including my maine keyword in top 12. This leads to increased traffic and increased clicks but the sales have not increased. My conversion is around 2.5% only. It is Amazon niche site related with Medical product. Can you pls guide what should I do to increase my conversions...

Well, is your content engaging? That is, maybe the problem is that you’re not really selling the products you’re linking to. I suggest switching up your writing, maybe add a compelling call to action, or use a different tone? Usually, I’d suggest going for the “personal experience” angle, but since we’re talking about medical products, maybe just sell your audience on the efficacy of the products you’re linking to by using a more informative tone.

The cause for low conversions could be many things. If you have increased your traffic, then I would suggest optimizing your webpage again, starting at the checkout page as this is the closest thing to getting the conversion. Furthermore, just make sure nothing on the webpage distracts the user from seamlessly going to the checkout.

2.5% is actually a pretty good conversion rate depending on the industry. For conversions always remember the LIFT method. Reduce anxiety and distraction while improving relevance, clarity and the right amount of urgency.
