Clicks but no leads?

Hey BHW,

I am brand new in the whole "make money with Instagram" thing but I wanted to try it after reading many successful journeys on the forum. Actully I even started from today,I had an old Instagram account(maybe 6 months old) with around 400 Followers and 2600 following,which was in the bodybuilding niche and I decided I was gonna change the whole topic of the profile and remade the whole profile to a "Celebrity accessories giveaway" type of profile and I even made a quick weebly site. People are redirected from the link in my bio to my website,in which they enter their names,email adress and reasons why they want to win etc.. after which they are redirected to a "You're almost finished" page where they have to click on a button to download a free App in order to complete their entry. I connected that button with an OfferWall from CPALead and tested it to see if it would work. What I did was enter my info,click to download an app,download a random app(in that case it was an AliExpress app) and used it for a couple of minutes. After that I went to see on CPALead if it had generated any $ and it showed the downloaded app and It had 1 click but no leads or anything. The same thing happened after 1 other person downloaded an app,still no $ generated. Is that normal? If no,can you give me some tips on improving that.

I know exactly what your talking about. That's the thing with CPA and link lockers in particular. Each app and Each survey on a link locker are going to "convert" differently. For instance .. You cant just assume that the aliexpress app pays you upon a download. Sometimes there has to be additional action for it to pay out to you. Such as a download AND a purchase through the app or a particular amount of time spent using app, playing app , getting to a certain level on game, etc Theres these little fine prints all over CPA type offers and you just have to do research on what offers your putting on your link lockers if your building them yourself. If your promoting others offers and link lockers you have no control over those offers. This is basically the info I have figured out for myself after I had the same situation/ question a while back. The answer I got from my account manager was basically if you are concerned about 1 click and 1 lead you are not going to do well in CPA.. lol I didn't like that answer i got from him but... its pretty much true.

So id say don't worry about it. I thought for the longest I was just being scammed and there were washing my leads, which is a whole other story. you will have leads washed here and there even if they are good leads. Hope that helped answer your question

Its usually that you get more clicks than leads

You're not sending enough traffic. If every click turned into a lead, we would all be rich. You need hundreds of clicks.
I get around 70% of people going from my landing page to the survey. Then, only 10% of those people will actually do the survey. Do the math.
