ClickBank Vendor Guide - calling @mancar487

I have a product that I wish to launch on Clickbank as a vendor. I am looking for a kind individual who is truthful and patient in guiding me.

I just going to tag the most knowledgeable person i know here @mancar487

I wanted to understand these points. They are what i picked from old threads on this subject in this fourm...but fo not know what is the situation now in 2020


I NEED ADVICE ON THESE BELOW CLAIMS

- VSL - has to be 20 min+ is this correct?
- if you wish to make No VSL page product then WSL (written sales letter) has to be up to 20,000 words long
-Your WSL is very short is a bad idea
- using WordPress. If you ever browse most vendors' websites they are using HTML static pages. Why? Because static pages won't really overload the webhost server. Wordpress, on the other hand, keeps sending requests to the SQL database. Now imagine if an affiliate (or worst yet, an affiliate spammer) sends a huge volume of traffic... bam, server overload and no one gets to see your page at all. And that is also the reason why some vendors need to 'whitelist' affiliates because they don't want affiliates sending tens of thousands of worthless traffic that won't convert because that eats their server resources.

-Setting your commission at 75% is the norm however phycial product can be lowerd.

- Funnel go for 100% commission upfront then 50 50 50 can make average still be higher for the affiliates to be attracted and you make more on back end.

Hey bud, find my answers in bold. Excuse the brevity but I'm currently knee deep in a new launch...

If it is just VSL then yes. If you combine a VSL with written text on same page, it can be shorter.

There's really no minimum. It all boils down to testing. I've got some short WSL myself and they work fine. You can have good results with a 5k wsl. longer is not necessarily better.

I do not use WP myself but I've seen a few vendors use it. However you are correct that most vendors do not.

Correct

That is a good approach. Just keep in mind that for digital products you need an average of 75%. Higher is better. I've used 90% and even 100% across the whole funnel.

1) I am having difficulty in finding an expert who makes good VSL's who is affordable for a startup. please drop some recommendations.

2) If people do not use WordPress, what is being used by top vendors for the product sales pages?

3) Physical product. Only WSL - What do you advise on the effectiveness of using Just WSL as compared to VSL+WSL for a Physical Product.

1. All my work is done in-house so don't have any recommendations for third parties. But a google/upwork search should turn up plenty
2. Html
3. Impossible to say before split testing. What we do is split test versions using private traffic + paypal before launching on clickbank
