Hi,

I pasted my affiliate link into the browser and was sent to Kyle Leon's adonisgoldenratio.com today which is a clickbank product targeted towards men in the health niche.

Decided to browse around the site a bit by using the links at the bottom...

Skimmed through the text sales letter real quick, jumped over to the "real reviews" section and then went to click the order button...

Hang on a sec...

What's that?

Why is my affiliate link replaced with the vendors affiliate link?

Oh... that's just pure evil mr Leon. Pure evil.

Maybe I'm twisted, but If I had affiliates sending ME traffic I'd want them to get credited for the sale. Period. Doesn't matter if the visitor that the aff sent me decided to browse around the site and read more about the product.

Looks to me like this guy is happy to stab you in the back while you're asleep.

Anyhoo, just wanted to let you know.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

I do not know who Kyle Leon even is, but the very prospect of cheating one's affiliates out of their commissions (or at least some of them, i.e. the ones sending visitors who browse through your page first) is pure scam (yes yes...we split 50/50, pal...yes...mhhhwaaah).

Anyway, I'll remember to add this guy's product to my personal shitlist. Thanks for the info.

It's pure greed..Just like all these adult affiliates shaving.I mean its the affiliates pushing there product to make them rich. The sad thing is they bite the hand that feeds them but still stays full..Bullshit.

so much shaving ...... report it to CB

It's not greedy, it's plain stupid imo.

The big, smart affiliates you want as a merchant notice this shit and will stop promoting you.

The result: Short term you make a bit more money, long term you end up on everyone's shit list.

Yup...that happens to me also..it seems the vendor is doing something shameful.

But I would say it is unclear that the product is belong to Kyle Leon coz the seller may just hijack the name of Kyle to sell his book.

Checked it out using my own hop and you're correct. Added him to my shitlist, thanks.

Not sure why vendors do this, they are just shooting themselves in the foot long term

Wow! i just tried it myself and it's true, if the user is not going to the cart trough the first page he hits with your affiliate link it seems the cookie gets overwriten by the account "adonisind.agrs" , which probably is the vendor himself.

EDIT: in the CB marketplace the adonis product is associated with the vendor "ADONISEFF", so he probably overwrites the affiliate cookie with another account to silently shave of commissions. just sad...

Oh yeah, one of my CB partner was telling me about this. He has reported to Clickbank, but CB doesn't even bother to investigate or reply to my partner.

Maybe because Kyle has several top selling products in CB and they don't want to ban him because he's helping them to earn too.

Oh well~

@BlackSeng: Yes you're right as everyone loves money, but If we all play our role of reporting to CB then I'm sure they will took action against it. We've to also assure them that these type of issues would directly put negative impact to their network.

actually presently now I feel...puzzle...

I can get many hops...etc..no sales..

wonder is it I 'm helping the vendors get List....

stupid vendor
idk about this specific product but usually vendors would rather 'donate' sales to affiliates, even those they made themselves just to get their gravity higher.

Lesson learned - check ALL your hoplinks to make sure you get credit for the sale

Very disappointing. This kind of stuff gives all vendors a bad name.

mind to ask how to check?
is it the end of the url must be your ID?

Go to the site with your affiliate link. Click on the order button and see if your id is at the bottom where it says "affiliate".
If you want click on a few links at the bottom maybe. Then return to the main page and check out the order page.
