Does clickbank has any problem with the traffic from twitter? I ask this b/c I've been working lately mostly with CPA networks (which mostly forbid it) and now Ill try with CB so Im curious if its allowed :)?

I've used it on clickbank and CPA (neverblue).

If they ask don't say twitter say "social media" LOL

yeah otherwise they mite ban ur account ;)

I think clickbank doesn't care about traffic sources very much. But trying to promote CB products on twitter is not such a good idea, I'm experimenting with twitter right now and can't even get conversions on email submits. Selling something is even harder.

Depends how you are doing it... But I've read somewhere that facebook converts 1:30 and twitter 1:300 on average ... so its a big difference

I'll try next week something with twitter I hope it will work. But people are not there to buy things so its not easy to convert them...

I think best would be if I buy some targeted visitors (PPC) from some 2nd tier network... for example 10 cents per visitor and see if any of them converts :). Spend 100$ = 1000 visitors to see how that will work.

If I earn for example 25$ per sale... I need 0.4% CR = 4 sales. If traffic is targeted enough its more then possible if traffic sux then i wont have even this 0.4% :D to be on zero :D

They won't likely ask. I don't think they love it, but I also don't think they care that much.

Clickbank seems to have the (healthy, I might add) mentality that if nobody is complaining, then you're not doing anything wrong. Being a proponent of free enterprise, I tend to agree with this in principle.

Yah i get ya mate...

The thing why i asked this is b/c CPA networks have very strict rules so i just wanted to be sure how things are with CB ;).

Anyway... How does your 2nd tier PPC camapings convert with CB ? Does anyone do that here ?

I've marketed CPA with and CB products without a problem. It's actually produced quite an efficient method for me. You might see a post soon :)

If you are talking about selling a CB product on a page and having a CPA offer there as a backup then i get you what you mean b/c exact same thing i have on my mind for some time alrdy.

----
Buy this product blablabal, BUT if you dont have money or do not want to buy the product special offer CPAoffer...

Something like that, hypothetically ? :D

On neverblue for instance it says the methods by which you can promote an offer.

If it doesn't say "social media" then don't promote it on twitter, or you risk being banned.
After all it is the advertisers that decide what kind of traffic they want.
As you make sales they will call you and talk with you and ask tricky questions.

I just started promoting CB products with tweettwain, they recently added a new feature where hop urls will be tweeted automatically based on your keywords. You cannot select CB products but can filter products based on your keywords, gravity and average sale. Best thing is you don't even need a single follower, messages will be posted as replies! Chances or getting suspended is more, but the tool has another feature which posts latest news and blog posts automatically, so Twitter will find it difficult to mark my accounts as S_P_A_M!

yeaahh guys i want to start my twitter marketing with CPA .. can you please give us tutorial what are we going to do.. yesterday i been sign up CB and i don't get what their trying to say about the Tracking ID / Tracking URL.. please help me guys.. thanks

Its an uphill battle if you are using twitter to promote cpa offers simply because many cpa networks don't allow social media traffic. Clickbank on the other has no problem with social network traffic because they are not acquiring leads like in cpa. I have had some limited success promoting clicbank offers via my twitter followers.

I found article where guy writes about CB converting on twitter... He had more then 2k hops and 0 sales. People from twitter are not on twitter to buy stuff, and second many of twitter users are from phones, mail clients, different programs/clients etc. So even your landing page has to be optimized for phones very good and so on and so on. Even tho this will sound stupid, but its easier to sell a product someone surfing from home from desktop computer then someone who is surfing with smartphone ;).

With facebook is different, it converts better as far as i know.

No , i think you can use twitter very effectively to sell yur clickbank products easily , only thing you need to do is get as many follwers as you want , its not
against either of their tos.
