Clickbank still profitable?

Hi guys!

I've been doing Facebook ads for about 5 years now and have developed a special funnel to target and convert traffic.

Clickbank seems like a viable place to make some money with the skill I know best.
The question - is it still profitable? Are there any other better places to make money similar to Clickbank?

If you have audience it doesnt matter is it clickbank or digistore or buygoods depends only which product you want to promote
For me the both are good on clickbank you can recieve youre payments once a week same on the buygoods, on digistore every 2 weeks i think not sure
 
I agree with dlyhai, most clickbank offers are scams. Just browse through the marketplace and then google search any url for any offer and 10:1 there will be all kinds of complaints about it being a scam. Also, most clickbank offers don't even respond to support requests. No idea how that site is still in business in 2023.

Clickbank is not like what it was 10-15 years ago. Back then people were that naive to buy products like "get rich quick ebooks"
People might still buy but products listed on CB are mostly the same as it were a decade ago.
I suggest you go for product affiliation directly.

get rich, matrix, 9-5 content flooded in instagram. and courses. and click funnels product also scam most of product its nothing. useless AI SAAS app.

I spent $1,000 of Microsoft Ads credits and a little bit of my own money promoting deferent supplements from Clickbank. Using Direct Linking, without opt in to test it out. After seeing a good CTR I kept telling myself some of the cart page views would turn to a sale, but they didn't. Tracking and everything was on, though I had suspected it to be something with that. I got so far in, I told myself to keep going but got no sales. I was shocked because people said its so easy on Youtube and such. I don't know if there was click fraud at play from the competition or what. I talked to Clickbank support and they said my audience was most likely broke, but MA Ads says they have better purchasing power with their users than Google.

Overall it was an experience because I had always wanted to sell supplements on the internet since 2013 when I did my first courses on starting a supplement company. I even have a $150 book on what can't be said due to the FTC/FCC on the issues of claims. So in a way I'm glad I didn't go further down the rabbit hole and buy $5,000 of custom formulated supplements to be stuck with them if I can't even sell someone else's "Winners". I used to know people who owned a Supplement shop too, all that glitters is not gold. There is people who make money in this high ticket niche and my next act to possibly make a site around the offers to attempt to get a email list going as I own a domain for this purpose. At the same time, I'm kind of wary of it and Ill probably be using a different network.

I see that Nutra offers for weight loss, physiology... are still good offers, with high conversion rates

It is hard and many ignores them as there are more options than this.
 
From what I can see Americans don't have the spending power they once had high unemployment inflation and high interest rates to borrow money
 
It's not about "clickbank" being profitable. It's whether or not any of the products listed there are profitable. Some may be, most are not. It's still hard to give an opinion without know exactly what product you want to promote.
 
Clickbank products have always been a little it scammy.
What's happening I think is they have started scamming their affiliates lot harder now a days.
For example trump coins freedom coins etc are a hot item and it's free + shipping. I send them a lot of clicks and 0 conversion which I think is next to impossible.
I dont know about others but this is my personal experience.
 
I think for info products - these days most people get all similar info for free on social media.

So days of making money by selling or promoting an online course for even $200, are probably gone for most of people.

Most of info is now shared for free or people buy just because Clickbank will give them a no questions asked refund - seller has no power to dispute a refund request.

I see many top selling supplements also have around 20% refund rate, which is insanely high.
This either means product is either bad or buyers know they can ask for a refund and Clickbank will give it to them.

Overall - I don't want to waste my time with Clickbank anymore.
And yes, it's only a shadow of what it was years ago.

Any new marketplaces worth looking at - to sell an online course or promote them?

That is one of the thing I hate about Clickbank too liberal in their refund policy.I agree 20% refund is too high but it also people who chronic refunders purposely buy it and refund it to get the profuct for free.
 
I haven't been on clickbank in a long time.
I see they wont allow you to look at their affiliate offers without logging in. Why is that?
 
Not that as it used to be. May be it's because of growing competition among the affiliates
 
So could someone suggest any alternative ti ckickbank other than digistore?

If you have been so long in this business you should know the diff between cb / mh and good products you can find in small boutique affiliate networks.

Supplements and paid traffic =lamb

Definitely, in general you can easily earn some commissions, but for a handsome amount it requires much more effort and skills. And always keep in mind that there are lots of competitors now.
