    Hi

    im looking for a decent clickbank link shortener. I tried to use google but immediately flagged it as spam. I tried bit.ly and it said it did not recognise it as a URL, despite previously doing so on previous links.

    any ideas?

    Thanks

    Why don't you use 301 redirect?

    Can you explain what does 301 redirect means?

    I always buy a domain which related to my product and use URL forwarding feature on Domain Manager to redirect my hop link

    There is no need to buy a separate domain for that. Let's say your site URL is www.yoursite.com. Go to cpanel>>File manager and create a new folder with some name. For an example let's say it is "new". The path would be www.yoursite.com/new. Then go to the re-direct section in cpanel and create a permanent re-direction, www.yoursite.com/new to your hoplink.

    Do you notice load time speed? Is it slow?

    I am thinking to use pretty link + shorten URL service for more control.

    The best way is make a directory on your domain like "go" or whatever then make a directory for your link like /keyword/ and then make a page in it named "index.php with the following code in it:
    Code:
    <?php
    // Permanent redirection
    header("HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently");
    header("Location: http://myaffiliatelink.html");
    exit();
    ?>
    That way you end up with a link like
    http://domain.com/go/keyword/

    Looking good! :thumb:

    You get a normal looking link from your domain with your keyword in it.

    It takes longer to explain it than it takes to do it LOL!!!

    Enjoy ..... :cool2:
