Clickbank RSS Feed for your Blog

Found this site yesterday. This is my first post. Thought I would make my first post a useful one where I share something with everyone!

I had purchased a Membership to RSS Ground in order to generate Clickbank RSS Feeds for my Blogs. It is expensive at $25 a Month. Cancelled after one Month because I got the info that I needed and no longer need them because they do not have any security to make sure that their Members only get access to the generated feeds.

So, here is how to generate your own Clickbank RSS Feed:

http://www.rssground.com/rssservices/clickbankfeeds.php?q=keyword&c=0&a=yourid&tid=yourtrackingid

Simply, replace yourid with your Clickbank ID.

Replace keyword with the keyword you want to search the Clickbank Marketplace.

Multiple Keywords: q=keyword1+keyword2+keyword3

Replace the yourtrackingid with your preferred tracking ID (kind of obvious )

If no tracking ID is used, then eliminate the part: &tid=yourtrackingid

c=0 is for the category. 0 is All Categories. Replace the 0 with your desired Category to search for your selected keyword.

Here are the Categories (Listed in Alphabetical Order):

0 All Categories
10 Arts & Entertainment
11 Betting
12 Business/Investing
4 Computers/Internet
13 Cooking, Food & Wine
6 E-business & E-marketing
5 Employment & Jobs
14 Fiction
15 Games
16 Green Products
2 Health & Fitness
17 Higher Education
18 Home & Garden
19 Languages

Just display the RSS feed in your favorite RSS Widget.

Look at the left sidebar and you will see the Clickbank RSS Feeds. I just used the RSS feed widget that came with Wordpress and inserted the Clickbank feed.

You can also use the hop ad builder at clickbank... Works pretty good

i use hop ads builder...but i think this is better since hope ads builder sometimes give the wrong products although i put the exact keyword name ("keyword")...

have a few questions here...

1) Clickbank RSS feed is base on new products that insert each day? or base on already existence products?

2) There are any number for a more specific category? like:

sport > subcategory1 > moresubcategory

or the category value is just base on the main category?

3) If i dont want to put the keywords...so i just eliminate the... q=keyword1 ....part?

I just tried the Hop Ad Builder not too long ago. Have yet to try it on my site. I think that I will include some Hop Ad builder ads into my sites.

But I like the RSS Feed better because it doesn't look like an add. It looks like part of the site. As long as you display the description as well, then it looks like people can click on it for more information. Have a look at my site that I mentioned in my previous post to see how the RSS feed looks.

I haven't been using this RSS feed for that long. Probably only a couple of Months now. I'm not sure if new products are included as soon as they are in the Clickbank marketplace or if there is a bit of a delay. But I do see some newer products in some of my feeds as well as several established products that have been in the marketplace for awhile. Have no idea what determines which products get displayed. Rankings? Gravity? Not sure. I will have to do some searches in the Clickbank Marketplace and compare them with this RSS Feed.

As for the Categories, the feeds are only generated from the main categories. When I had the membership, those were the only categories that I could select. I tried them out one by one in order to find out what category numbers belonged to each category.

You could eliminate the keyword part like you just did. Seems to work. But why would you want to? Without the keyword, it would just display a various assortment of Clickbank products. Isn't it better to have the products targeted to the interests of your site visitors?

By the way, you have to be careful when entering multiple keywords. It is not like a search engine where the more keywords you use, the more specific your search. If Keyword 1 is "Car" and keyword 2 is "auctions", then the results will show products related to cars and products related to auctions. I would like it to show products related to car auctions only. But it doesn't work that way, unfortunately.

But keep one thing in mind.

This is not my RSS Feed. So I have absolutely no control over it. Although I have been considering developing my own type of RSS Clickbank feed service.

Right now, the feed works great with your Aff id showing up. But they could eventually install some kind of security to detect that the aff id in the feed does not belong to a registered member and then just insert their own aff id into the feed instead. I'm very surprised that they have not done this as it would not be hard to do. If you do not put an affiliate id in the feed, then theirs is used. If you use this RSS feed, then keep that in mind. Every once in awhile, check your feed to make sure that your aff id is showing up. Just hover the cursor over the link in the feed and see if your id shows up at the bottom of your web browser.

Yes, that's the problem. Do you know have any script/software out there to creat our own ClickBank RSS ?thanks
